Visiting Sarayacu
The village of Sarayacu on the upper Bobonaza has developed an ecotourism business as an ecomonic alternative to letting oil companies drill on their lands. Sarayacu is a village of about 1,000 people and offers outsiders a rare chance to see how people in a traditional community in the upper Amazon live.
